Registration of NLAAD events is open, and HIV testing kits request form available for NLAAD 2022 campaign.

Creating awareness in the Hispanic/Latino Community through events nationwide has been the main goal of NLAAD through the years. Now that restrictions due to COVID-19 are not as strict as previous years we hope we can organize live events again. We won’t dismay in our efforts to end the HIV epidemic, and to deliver information and education about HIV testing, prevention and treatment in our communities. HIV Testing Kits for your NLAAD Event

Through our partnership with ORASURE, we have secured a donation of HIV testing kits for the organizations who will be hosting an NLAAD event with HIV testing and that may require support with testing kits.

These test kits are available now, and in order to obtain a set of 25 kits for an NLAAD event, it is required to register the event on our website www.nlaad.org, or directly at this link .

It is estimated that in the USA, one of every six Hispanic/Latinx individuals living with HIV does not know they have the virus, therefore testing continues to be an important tool as we work towards ending the epidemic.
