This session will explore the unique challenges and opportunities in promoting HIV testing among Latino communities. Through data-driven insights, culturally responsive strategies, and real-world success stories, we’ll highlight how healthcare providers, community leaders, and advocates can work together to reduce stigma, increase access, and empower Latino individuals to take charge of their health. This session will equip you with tools to make HIV testing more inclusive, effective, and impactful.

 

This virtual discussion will focus on ways to Increase awareness about the need for rapid responses and preparedness plans to address the aging of PLWH from a systems approach.

 

This webinar will provide an overview of the current state of HIV in the U.S., highlighting the urgent need to expand testing, reduce stigma, and close racial/ethnic gaps in care. Special focus will be given to Hispanic communities, exploring the cultural, social, and structural factors that contribute to disparities in HIV outcomes. Attendees will gain insight into data-driven strategies, community-led initiatives, and policy solutions that can help ensure equity in HIV prevention and testing for all.

 

National Latino AIDS Awareness Day

This presentation will focus on the history of HIV testing and its role in the evolution of the epidemic, including how testing has advanced over time and the different options available to public health programs. This presentation will also give examples of successful testing programs in numerous non-traditional settings to highlight the various applications of HIV testing to reach those who need it most.
