Are you hosting a Testing event? co-organizing a health fair? doing outreach, HIV education? or creating HIV awareness in any way, shape, or form? Then, it’s time to register your 2023 NLAAD event. We would love to celebrate our 20-year anniversary with as many events as possible. To those partners who have joined us in the past, welcome back. To those who will host an event for the first time, you will be part of a incredible cause. Your event is a piece of the puzzle that works towards ending the HIV epidemic.

Go to the main menu in the NLAAD website and click on the registration tab. Or go directly to the form by clicking here. The registration form has 3 consecutive sections:

• Entering information of your organization and event
• Placing an order for posters (optional)
• Placing an order for HIV tests (optional)

[1] ENTERING YOUR EVENT

Registering your event will allow us to create an exclusive webpage of your event on the NLAAD website. Your event page will look something like this. Please provide detailed information as much as possible (event description, telephone of contact person, etc.) so those who visit the site, including media outlets and community members, will have all of your NLAAD event information to attend and promote collaboration.

[2] ORDERING POSTERS

All the posters promote HIV prevention as this is the main focus of this year’s campaign. We have created 5 different posters, in both English and Spanish (10 total). Chose the one(s) that better fits your mission and values, and the characteristics of your event/community. You will be able to choose only 5 from the 10 possibilities. You can choose 5 of the same poster, 5 different ones, or any other combination. Once we receive your request, we will communicate with you by email and then send the posters by mail.

[3] ORDERING HIV TESTS

This year again, through our amazing partnership with ORASURE, we have secured a donation of HIV testing kits for organizations that request them exclusively for their NLAAD event. Each event will receive 1 kit with 25 tests. You must provide your CLIA Waiver number when filling out the registration form.

These HIV tests are available now and we will do our best to ship them as as soon as we receive your registration. Please plan accordingly and register your event in advance to avoid late deliveries.
