CALOR will host an HIV testing event in honor of NLAAD. We are proposing to host a Kermes/Bazaar in which we will raise HIV/AIDS awareness, offer free HIV testing, and invite other service providers to host a table in order to promote other services for the community such as free Hepatitis C testing for example....

This event is aimed to educate the student's population in regards to HIV by providing educational facts and encouraging them to get tested and know their status. Furthermore, is an opportunity to also educate about the LGBT culture by providing drag queen performances.

These forums engage our Latinx LGBTQ Community through conversation and outreach aimed at preventing the further spread of HIV. There are a series of informative and culturally tailored bulletins where community members can have open discussions about prevention. On this community forum we will be addressing the National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day.
