2017 Hispanic HIV Leadership Awards – Wilton Manors, FL

The Hispanic HIV Leadership Awards is an initiative born from the need of recognizing the efforts of outstanding individuals or groups in their efforts of raising HIV/AIDS awareness in the Latino communities of Broward County.
The awards are 3, the recipients of the first 2 are selected from nominates by the community and the third is selected by the leadership of the coalition and announced in association with the Leadership Awards
1. The Louis Curbelo Leadership Award: A long time or emerging leader committed to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the Latino community of Broward County.
2. Fulgencio Aponte Community Service Award: A group, business or individual that has supported the work of the Latino committee with time, resources, ideas or a helping hand.
3. Juliette Love Humanitarian Award: An outstanding individual who is devoted to the welfare of humanity and whose accomplishments are consistent with the core values of the coalition. The denomination is done by the leadership of the coalition and announced in association with the Leadership Awards
