La Casa de Don Pedro’s National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) event is a free, entertaining event that raises awareness about the severity of HIV/AIDS in the community and encourages advocacy.
La Casa’s NLAAD event in Newark is one of the thousands held across the country to foster community engagement, especially among Latinos in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
NLAAD is free and open to the public. This year come and mingle with our superheroes & their unique superpowers! Activate your superpowers at La Casa de Don Pedro’s annual NLAAD celebration that will feature:

- A community conversation with La Casa’s health team about valuable health topics. Questions welcome!
- Education on the most effective and recent treatment and prevention methods for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections Intriguing demonstrations
