SUMMARY:National Latinx HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this fundraising event benefitting not one but two HIV clinics in Tijuana: La Casita Unión Trans and Eunime por Tijuana. The event will be hosted by Snowflake and Michele Ada. Performances by Alejandra Sandoval\, Nadya Symone\, and Marty Mars. HIV will be offered at the event. Tickets are $20. Additional donations are encouraged. \nLa Casita Unión Trans is a trans-led nonprofit and community shelter in Tijuana dedicated to supporting transgender people\, especially those experiencing homelessness\, migration\, violence\, or discrimination. Through safe housing\, healthcare referrals\, legal assistance\, mental health support\, and empowerment programs\, they help individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Your donation helps provide a safe place to sleep\, access to essential services\, and opportunities for some of the community’s most vulnerable members to thrive. \nEUNIME Por Tijuana is a nonprofit organization that provides a loving home and comprehensive care for children and adolescents living with HIV in Tijuana. Beyond shelter\, EUNIME ensures access to medical care\, education\, nutrition\, emotional support\, and opportunities for every child to grow up in a safe\, nurturing environment. Donations directly help cover the daily needs\, healthcare\, and educational resources that allow these children to live healthy\, fulfilling lives while helping reduce the stigma surrounding HIV.
