SUMMARY:WORLD: Fresh Food Market and Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Fresh Food Market and Health Fair will take place on Wednesday\, October 15th\, 2025\, from 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at 389 30th Street\, Oakland\, CA 94609. This community-centered event is part of National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) and will combine WORLD’s regular food pantry distribution with expanded health and wellness services. Participants will have access to free fresh produce and pantry staples\, with no registration or sign-up required. In partnership with local health organizations\, the event will also offer on-site HIV and HCV testing\, along with educational resources on prevention\, care\, and community health. Staff and volunteers will be available throughout the event to provide linkage to care\, referrals\, and information on WORLD’s ongoing programs and support groups. The event will last approximately two hours\, bringing together community members\, health partners\, and WORLD staff to promote wellness\, awareness\, and connection in a welcoming\, bilingual environment.Food
