DESCRIPTION:Binational Health Week is held annually in all 50 entities in the United States of America. It is a mobilization of efforts by community organizations\, federal and state agencies\, and volunteers to improve the health and well-being of migrants in the United States\, increase access to local medical services\, and increase health insurance coverage. \nThis year’s nineteenth edition of Binational Health Week will be held on Saturday\, October 5th\, at Servicios de La Raza\, located at 3131 W 14th Ave\, Denver\, CO. \nThe following services will be offered: \n General review of height\, weight and muscle mass \n Blood pressure readings \n Type 2 diabetes screenings \n Iron\, glucose and cholesterol level screenings \n HIV and STI testing \n Hepatitis testing \n Dental consultations \n Visual acuity testing \n Tests for the detection of anxiety and depression \n Mammograms – will provide a voucher of allowance for $99.00 only attendees the day of the event* \n Pap-smear exams* \nTo pre-register for a free pap-smear visit: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050a48adac2ca0fe3-papsmears\nYou must register in order to receive this service* \nLink for the pre-registration of the XIX SBS 2019: \nhttps://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeBvgze37IQ9NOTx5dNF2qE-Fp79ucBdomD0fzsrf 8Pf7XHQ/viewform \nMost services are free or at low cost.
