Lunes 11 de diciembre, 2017.<\/strong> Hoy, la Comisi\u00f3n Latina sobre el SIDA y la Red de Salud Hispana hacen p\u00fablico el breve reporte &#8220;Latinas y el VIH en NYC.&#8221; Personal de diferentes programas y departamentos de la Comisi\u00f3n Latina sobre el SIDA trabajaron para desarrollar este breve reporte, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Gabriela S. Betancourt, MA, MPH, subdirectora de investigaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n, de la Comisi\u00f3n Latina.<\/p>\n<p>El breve reporte subraya los retos para responder al impacto del VIH y SIDA entre mujeres Cis-g\u00e9nero y Trans Latinas, incluyendo el papel del estigma y las barreras para involucrar a nuestras comunidades. El reporte comparte una refrescante perspectiva sobre la urgencia para desarrollar diversas, intervenciones estrat\u00e9gicas y esfuerzos urgentes para involucrar Latinas en mejores maneras para responder al impacto del VIH.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Responder a las disparidades de salud cuando hablamos de VIH entre latinas incluyendo personas de experiencia Transg\u00e9nero y Cis-g\u00e9nero es cr\u00edtico para derrotar la epidemia del VIH. Es importante que estas disparidades sean contextualizadas por intervenciones de salud p\u00fablica para que sean m\u00e1s efectivas,&#8221; se\u00f1al\u00f3 Srita.
